I have never read the book but I’ve seen every version on film. There are things about the original 80’s version that are still the best but have to say that this one is fantastic. Some may say it was too long or they didn’t like this or that but FOR ME! It took the best from 80’s movie, TV mini series and the book. The scenes were spectacular! Just a well done story though long was compelling. I hear they are going to do a third one “The Messiah is Coming” which tells the rest of the story. I loved this but it is my opinion which everyone has. DUNE: part two!
